Women’s Care Center of Milwaukee is more than a pregnancy resource center. It is a place of hope, where women are greeted with radical hospitality the second they walk in. This quiet but mighty organization is committed to making a life-changing impact in the community, offering free services that include:
- Medical-grade pregnancy tests
- 3D/4D ultrasounds
- Confidential, non-judgmental counseling
- A learn-and-earn program promoting self-sufficiency
Heartbeat of the Community
Since 2010, the footprint of Women’s Care Center has grown substantially. With two downtown Milwaukee locations intentionally placed where the need is greatest, the center now serves more than 3,200 women each year—a 30% increase in just four years.
Every service offered stems from one belief: that all pregnant women deserve compassionate care and practical support. The impact of this approach is undeniable, with one in seven babies in Milwaukee now getting their start at Women’s Care Center.
The center is a vibrant place where community intersects with friendship. Women are supported throughout their pregnancies and beyond, through counseling and parenting education classes. Coupons earned from classes can be used in the Crib Club, a boutique-style space filled with new baby clothes, diapers, and other essentials.
Providing accessible healthcare for women has always been the cornerstone of the mission. Through free services and connections to local clinics and community organizations, Women’s Care Center bridges critical gaps in women’s healthcare and weaves a stronger support net for families.
Get in on the Good
Unique events are held throughout the year to introduce more friends to the center. Recently, Terri and Peter Ogden and Mary and Dan Druml graciously hosted over 150 people at Ogden’s Kincora Farm. Cows grazed in the pastoral landscape while guests toasted their glasses in celebration of the mission!
As the sun began to set, everyone made their way down to Pewaukee Lake for continued fellowship. More than a celebration, the evening was a reminder that every life touched by Women’s Care Center strengthens families today and helps build generations for years to come.
